Ondansetron

• Well absorbed from GIT (bioavailability of 60%)
• Significant hepatic metabolism
  --> Reduce dose in hepatic impairment
• Half-life = 3 hours

Side-effect

• Headache (15-20%)
• Flushing
• Constipation
• Bradycardia

Usage

• Cytotoxic chemotherapy-induced N&V
• PONV
• Radiation-induced N&V
